No. This isn't a
picture of an ageing member of Def Leppard (band from the late
80's).
It's actually
Steve Pinker, a leading thinker (and prolific writer) in the
Cognitive and Evolutionary Psychology fields.

Lecture notes and Labs: updates
|
Additions and updates
to the Reserve Folder
1). Language
lecture:9 th October.
A copy of the overheads used in the 9th Oct lecture is on
reserve in the library.
2). Decision making: 9th
& 16th October.
Powerpoint slides on Decision Making - 9th & 16th Oct
are also now on reserve.
3). Symbolic
Distance lab.
Jean Newman has placed missing ordinal
distance data from the Thursday 12-2 pm group (symbolic distance
lab) in the reserve lab folder. There is a full set of results.
However...
"The last page of the Bower et al article is missing--it
was missing in the original (pp 342-343).
I'm trying to get a copy from interlibrary loan at Auckland Univ
but am not very hopeful. It was the list of references, so
unfortunately students will have to work forwards, rather than
backwards for new sources. (e.g., use Science Citation Index or
check the textbook for other references on organisation)."
4). Booking reserve
folders.
NB. You can book the Lab & Lecture reserve folders for a
pre-specified time.
However please make sure all notes are returned to the right
folder, please, as some students have had problems obtaining the
full set of data from the Symbolic Distance labs (because they ended up
in the Lecture notes folder).
